Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s divorce has stirred the pot, which shook the fans worldwide. It led to the division of their net and assets worth $770 Million after the finalization of the split. Apart from their professional deeds, Gisele Bündchen has a non-profit which works for the people’s welfare. However, shocking numbers reveal that the organization has carried out prudent donations to other groups since its establishment.

After their struggles came out, Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady grew in prominence. Following some events, the couple announced their legal separation in October. After their divorce, Bündchen traveled to Costa Rica while Brady was between NFL games. But some shocking data revealed the former couple’s non-profit gave out small grants.

As per the New York Post, between 2007 and 2019, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s Luz Foundation distributed $640,402 to various organizations. The sum represents .00008 percent of the former couple’s overall net worth. Tax filings revealed that in 2017, the organization donated $25,000 to the David Lynch Foundation, which promotes meditation and yoga in schools. That same year, they also gave $25,000 to You Go Girl Yoga, a Massachusetts-based organization.

In 2018, the foundation donated $300 to the Waterkeeper Nicoya Peninsula, a Costa Rican environmental organization. They also donated $900 to the World Wildlife Fund and $1,000 to the Challenged Athletes Foundation. They assist people with physical disabilities.

Additionally, in 2019, the Luz Foundation gave the Pointing Out the Great Way Foundation $80,000 of its $350,000 budget. It is a non-profit group based in Massachusetts that encourages Indo-Tibetan meditation. Most of the donations from Bündchen’s non-profit group went toward the meditation and yoga groups.

What do Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s Luz Foundation do?

Gisele Bündchen established the Luz Foundation in 2007. She founded the non-profit organization to provide help and grants to young females. The group is based in the Great Neck, which received the IRS tax-exempt status just three years after. The Brazilian supermodel had a noble cause in mind to start the non-profit initiative.

As per Marca, Gisele Bündchen spoke to the Sydney Morning Herald about the foundation in 2015. She mentioned, “My life is devoted to this. I know from the outside that people think, ‘This girl just poses for pictures.’ But in my head, I’m thinking the whole time, ‘Okay, if I take this job, then I can have more money to put into this [project].’ So that’s what I’m doing.”

It is yet to see what happens to the former couple’s non-profit initiative after their split.
