When Donald Trump defended Gisele Bündchen
The occasion was Super Bowl XLVI in 2012. The New England Patriots squared off with the New York Giants for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. With Tom Brady on the team, the Patriots were favorites to win their fourth Super Bowl title going into the game. But they lost 17-21. And Gisele Bündchen blamed Brady’s teammates for that.
Trump defended the model for her outburst, saying that she was just standing up for her man.“She’s standing up for her man and Gisele didn’t do anything wrong,” Trump said. He also added that the Patriots’ O-line dropped a lot of balls during the game. “She happened to be right. They were dropping balls all over the place,” Trump added.

Things might have taken a different turn between Brady and Bündchen, but she always had his back when they were together.
Bündchen’s divorce from Tom Brady
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen decided to split over differences in priorities in life after 13 years of marriage. Bündchen wanted the NFL great, who now plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, to retire and spend more time with the family. Brady announced his retirement from professional football at the end of the 2021 season. But he soon decided that retirement wasn’t for him and announced his decision to return to the field just over a month later.

This decision proved very costly for Brady, as Bündchen didn’t approve of it. The supermodel was reportedly not happy with this decision, as she thought the QB was prioritizing his NFL career over his family. In the end, the couple decided to part ways and chart their separate paths in life. Both publicly announced the split through social media statements in late October.
