The NFL quarterback Tom Brady and the Supermodel Gisele Bündchen have several A-list celebrities as friends in the industry. One of the crazy fans and an avid supporter of Brady, Mark Wahlberg, shares a close bond with the passer that transcends from the gridiron to the big screen.

Legendary American actor Mark Wahlberg, who is popularly known by his screen name Marky Mark, has huge respect for his dear friend Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bündchen.

Even while the reporters tried to lure him and poked him to comment on the beauty of the Supermodel, Wahlberg remained a gentleman and didn’t slip into the media trap. It happened a few years ago when he was coming off the sets of Entourage. Reporters asked him whether Bündchen came over while Tom Brady was working with the actor.

He said yes, to which they further asked him how she looked. “She is a nice girl. She looks like his wife. What kind of question is that?” he replied instantly, foiling all the plans of creating a controversy. The camaraderie between the quarterback and the actor was evident back in 2015 when Wahlberg didn’t have a second thought about choosing Brady to give a cameo in his film Ted 2.

It was also the time when the passer was tangled in the infamous Deflategate incident. When asked about the actor’s response to the issue, Wahlberg denied supporting any allegations against his friend and mentioned that he doesn’t need crocky ways to win the games.

When the reporters pressured him, asking whether he messed with the balls, Wahlberg turned on his witty mode, saying, “No. That’s ridiculous. He’s got beautiful balls,’”.

The world was in utter shock when the Buccaneers quarterback announced retirement earlier this year after playing for just two seasons with the franchise.

Just like other celebrities, Wahlberg responded by saying that the legacy he created shall remain forever. “I was just happy for him,” the actor said. “He’s done so much for New England, he’s done so much for football … for us to win that many championships … six titles [with the Patriots] — it’s a blessing.”

“Whatever he wants to do, I’m more than supportive and happy for him,” he explained, adding that Brady shall always be a Patriot. It will be interesting to see if the duo collaborate again in the foreseeable future once the passer finally retires from the game.
