Former NBA legend, Shaquille O’Neal is unhappy about the quality of the NFL this season. The 60-year-old has suggested an idea to resolve the roughing the passer concerns in the wake of the Tom Brady incident. According to Shaq, fans can fix the issue by not showing up to the game. The experienced NBA star added he wants the old football back.

Do you know who can fix this? The fans, by not showing up to the game. But guess what? Everything has to be in two. Yeah, we’re not going to the game. We want the old mean Joe Green Football back. Rick Ray Lewis stopping people out dancing. That’s the football game. Not this new flag football,” he said.

NFL fines Tom Brady after roughing the passer incident

The NFL fined GOAT Tom Brady for his attempt to kick Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jarrett in the Week 5 game. Tom Terrific will have to pay $11,139 as a fine. The kick didn’t hit Jarrett, but the intent behind that effort has led to an action against TB12.

Meanwhile, the play attracted attention as Jarrett was flagged for roughing the passer. It was a questionable call, according to many analysts and fans. Jarret also maintained that he did not violate any rules by taking down Tom BradyThis move came as a boost for the Buccaneers, as they took advantage of it to win 21-15 against Atlanta. However, fans and analysts were upset about the call and registered their protest.

Previously, Broncos fans left the venue early as a sign of protest on Week 4 as the game headed into overtime. It made Twitter and analysts talk about the defensive football played by the team. The NBA legend has echoed a similar view that highlighted the role of fans in the popularity of the game.
