Many consider Shaquille O’Neal to be one of the most humble personalities in sporting history. The former basketball athlete isn’t just a philanthropic personality, but also a great advisor. The NBA GOAT recalls the moments when he counseled Leonard Fournette when things weren’t going on the right track.

Leonard Fournette turned some eyes over him during his run with Tampa Bay. The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Bucs were able to put their effectiveness in the field on proper display. Fournette has become a top RB in the game and getting acknowledged by Shaquille O’Neal is a mega-deal for his career.

Shaq is an active fan of the Buccaneers, and Tom Brady isn’t the one he is only rooting for. While Gronk is among his chosen guys in the league, He also mentions Leonard Fournette, another LSU product who has been doing exceptionally well. Shaq claims he privately mentored Fournette just after the Jacksonville Jaguars cut him.

O’Neal speaks to TMZ Sports, mentioning. “They did him kinda dirty in Jacksonville… I had a conversation with him. I told him to keep his head up. So, when he was going to Tampa I said, ‘Hey, man, this is your chance to let everybody know they were wrong about you.’ He’s been playing fabulous.”

Being cut in your prime is a harsh deal to face. That’s something that RB Leonard faced when the Jags cut him. While Jacksonville is still recovering from the Urban Meyer epoch, Fournette got his redemption juncture. He became a one-time Super Bowl Champion in his pro football career, and there’s a lot more exciting to come.

Shaquille O’Neal and Fournette have great connections

Both Shaquille O’Neal and Leonard Fournette transcended their collegiate careers, and LSU gave them the best opportunity to excel in their games. Being a passionate follower of the university, it’s obvious that Shaq will have his eyes on the stars, and Leonard was among them.

RB Fournette became the first player in LSU heritage to carry for 200 yards or more in 2015.  Shaquille O’Neal forecasted Leonard could capture the Heisman Trophy. In an actual sense, Shaq wants to present Fournette with the title right away.

Leonard Fournette is on his path to his 3rd year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He will perform alongside Tom Brady, in what is called the GOAT’s last waltz in the NFL. Furthermore, he and the entire roster have the additional pressure to capture another Lombardi this year.
