Tom Brady to reunite with Shaq Mason
Shaq Mason started his professional football career in 2015. The Patriots picked up the offensive guard in the fourth round of that year’s draft. Mason has spent his entire career in New England. He has also won the LI and LIII Super Bowls with the franchise.
In 2021, the defensive star was ranked as the fourth-best guard in all of football. He has only become better with every passing season. Mason has guarded the quarterback Tom Brady in some crucial games before the GOAT jumped ship to the Buccaneers. Both the athletes have spent five seasons playing together on the field. Now it seems like the perfect opportunity for the offensive guard to reunite with his former QB.
Ali Marpet has chosen to stay retired and focus on his studies. The former Buccaneers guard is pursuing a Master’s degree in mental health. Shaq Mason could be his perfect replacement. He has the size and the power. He also knows how to play in an offense led by Tom Brady. Just like Rob Gronkowski, this former Patriots player can also find success in Tampa alongside Brady.
