It’s been a long road back for the former Denver Broncos DE, Shane Ray. Yes! the same Shane who was the 1st round pick with the No 23 overall picks in 2015. He was selected to play as a defensive end for the Broncos. Shane had massive success in Super Bowl 50 with a total of eight sacks and two fumble recoveries in 2016, assisting his team to win the Super Bowl. Then tragedy struck, and we almost lost sight of him for years. Be it a wrist injury or an enormous drop in his performance, the DE was blown off course.

Shane hasn’t played an NFL game in the last 5 years. He hasn’t played a league game since 2018. But in a turn of events, the Buffalo Bills are now willing to bet on Shane. Fans are overwhelmed with excitement, but he hasn’t had a smooth journey to get this far. After the unforgettable win at Super Bowl 50, Shane seemed to have a promising future in the league. But, due to a wrist injury, he could not attend half of the season. He had performed only two sacks over the course of two years, an enormous drop from his eight sacks in a single year. After his rookie contract ended, he became a free agent in 2019. Ahead of the 2019 season, Ray signed with the Baltimore Ravens. But unfortunately, he was let go from the team before the season had started.
