Three Years Before ‘Swift Quake’, Gisele Bündchen’s Best Friend Produced a Tsunami When Tom & Ex-Wife Were Together

Even Travis Kelce opened up about being a Tay-Tay fan, talking about how he had had a bracelet prepared with his number on it for the singer. But the plan failed because Kelce did not get his opportunity to meet Taylor Swift. 

But three years ago, the NFL world was taken over by the scintillating performance of two Latin American singers. And one of them has a close friendship with Tom Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen.

J-Lo and Shakira Take over the NFL with Super Bowl Performance

In 2020, Shakira and J-Lo performed together at the Super Bowl LIV half-time show. The Latin American singers were watched by over 104 million people, becoming one of the most watched half-time shows in the Super Bowl. Not only this, but it was also the first time two Latinas were co-headlining the show. And with Miami boasting around 75% Hispanic or Latino people, their performance enthralled everyone at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. 

Shakira shares a very close friendship with Gisele Bündchen. After the supermodel’s divorce from NFL GOAT Tom Brady, the duo went on a holiday trip together in Costa Rica recently. But back then, Bündchen and Brady were still together. And they definitely enjoyed watching Shakira and J-Lo together on the stage. Shakira initially took the stage, singing her hit songs like She Wolf, Wherever Whenever and Hips Don’t Lie. She then made way for J-Lo, who mesmerized the audience by performing her own hit songs. And then, the duo took the stage together, leaving the crowd cheering and roaring to their English and Latin medleys.

Just like this historic half-time show, Taylor Swift’s recent concert in Seattle led to NFL fans reminiscing about the famous ‘Beast Quake’ that took place in 2011.

Taylor Swift causes a mini earthquake during her concert

On the 22nd and 23rd of July, the ‘Shake It Off’ hit maker took to Lumen Field for her eras tour, the home of the Seattle Seahawks. With over 70 thousand fans flocking to the stadium to watch Tay-Tay in action, the two concerts caused a 2.3 magnitude earthquake on the Ritcher scale. This was because Swifties were jumping and dancing to the tunes of the 33-year-old singer. The ‘Swift Quake’ caused by these fans was similar to the one that occurred in the NFL in 2011. Marshawn Lynch scored a 67-yard touchdown for the Seahawks during their NFC Wild Card Playoff game. And fans started jumping in celebration. This caused brief seismic activities, later being dubbed the ‘Beast Quake.’
