The Thursday Night Football game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New York Jets happened to be an eventful matchup. Although the game turned out to be a low-scoring thriller, the commentators made up for the loss with their sexual remarks against Trevor Lawrence in the first quarter.

After Week 16, the Jaguars have managed to keep their playoff aspirations alive, improving the season record to 7-8. However one of the highlights of the night was during the late first quarter when popular play-by-play commentator Al Michaels accidentally made sexual comments about the Jaguars quarterback.

The last year’s first-round pick got tackled by a defensive lineman on the play, and after hitting the turf, Lawrence’s face was covered with pebbles. He got up instantly and started wiping those tiny remnants on his face. Interestingly, the broadcasting crew put up a slow-motion replay of this incident focusing the cameras on the quarterback trying to get rid of those pebbles.

Al Michaels unknowingly mentioned that Lawrance was getting a facial. Although he didn’t realize what he just said, other panelists chuckled upon hearing his commentary. Anyways the game has been quite impressive. Trevor Lawrence finished 20 of 31 for 229 yards and rushed for 51 yards on seven carries.

With this 19-3 win, the Jaguars have leveled their standings along with the Titans. The upcoming victories in the remaining two games shall secure them a playoff berth. And hopefully make a Super Bowl run.

Unfortunately, he got booed by his own fans and had to remain on the sidelines from the third quarter. Anyways Al Michaels remained a star attraction throughout the game.
