Golf is a sport that many athletes have a keen passion for, apart from their own primary sport. And with the offseason in the NFL and the NBA finals just recently concluding, many athletes have once again taken to golf courses to be a part of their favorite sporting pass-time. Even 2X Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes does not miss the opportunity to enjoy a game of golf whenever the opportunity arises.
While the offseason continues, Mahomes and his teammate Travis Kelce are set to take on NBA stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in a highly anticipated match on June 29. And it seems that both Mahomes and Curry have already begun preparations, as they were recently seen swinging it out on golf courses and channelizing their inner Tiger Woods.

While golf may be a sport of interest for athletes, they usually engage with it in a way to give back to their communities. Stephen Curry is mostly known for his unbelievable three-pointers on the basketball court. But he recently left fans in awe after he hit a long-distance shot into the hole during his season two of the Underrated Tour. The tour focuses on providing a platform for culturally diverse junior golfers. And Curry already looks to be in top form ahead of his match against his NFL counterparts.

On the other hand, Patrick Mahomes has also been busy on the golf course ahead of the heated matchup against the NBA stars. He recently took his entire family on a work vacation in Hawaii for the Aloha Golf Classic. It is a charity golf event hosted by his foundation the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, which proves to be a warmup for Patrick Mahomes while also trying to raise money for charity. The QB took to Instagram to share a story of himself showing off his arm as he hit a great shot, much to the approval of the onlookers.
As these athletic giants warm up, the showdown between the NFL and NBA stars is definitely going to be one to look out for on June 29.
