It soon became a big deal as celebrities also started to take part in standing against the injustices thrown at people. The slogan ‘Black Lives Matter’ got really famous, and meanwhile, many NBA and NFL players joined in to stand against racism.

Many NFL and NBA players were a part of the protest, but there was one who took a further step in this direction. The former NFL player who last played for the San Francisco 49ers, Colin Kaepernick, left his career and went on to become a civil rights activist. Recently, he posted a story on his Instagram, which inspired a lot of fans. The former player’s story featured something that was motivating to all.

Recently, Colin Kaepernick posted a story about a little girl on his Instagram account. The activist was tagged by Didapop and Candida Boyette-Clemons. She captioned the post “Inspiring change in and outside of sports,” and she tagged the former player. Clemons also added a small red heart emoji, showing her love and support for Kaepernick.

The picture was of a little girl sitting on the floor on one knee. The girl had a big smile on her face and was sitting in front of Kaepernick’s yellow-colored plaque engraved on the wall. The setting was somewhere outside, as trees were also visible in the background. The picture gives away the message that the girl was inspired by Kaepernick.

The former QB reposted the picture, spreading awareness among his 3.6 million Instagram followers and many others who must have seen the story. The former player is seen trying to get back into the NFL. He’s supported by many, like Stephen Curry, but not everyone wants him back.

Kaepernick might never come back to the NFL

Recently, former NFL player Terence Garvin came on the podcast “The Arthur Moats Experience with Deke Podcast.” The linebacker was asked about Najee Harris joining activist Colin Kaepernick for a workout. Garvin said that the senior prom was six years ago and is over now.

The former player further added that this time of year, Kaepernick gets in the limelight. He explained that there are way too many young quarterbacks for any team. The linebacker also added that the chances of a 35-year-old quarterback who hasn’t played since 2017 being picked are rare.
