JJ Watt announced his retirement via his social media platforms. He told the fans that his son’s first game with him would be his final appearance in front of his Arizona audience. Moreover, he stated that his heart was overflowing with appreciation.

The Milkman announced his retirement in Week 16. However, he still has two games left on his regular season schedule. Fans could see Watt in action when the Cardinals travel to face the Falcons in Week 17 and the Niners in Week 18.

We had no idea that was coming, but what a tremendous player and person and an all-time great in this league. So to see him play the way he played the other night and then hear that, I think it’s just a special time for him, the organization, the entire NFL to kind of celebrate him these last two weeks.”
