Pro athletes are some of the most desirable icons of the country. They garner a huge following among the common masses. Furthermore, they also serve the greater purpose of being an inspiration to children. Children look up to athletes. They look at athletes as if they’re almost superheroes, achieving things that seem humanly impossible. One such superhero is Patrick Mahomes. In the past, Mahomes has been the kind of person that has been very involved in the community. He has helped inspire children with his words as well as his organization, 15 and Mahomies. Furthermore, it seems like even his mother, Randi Mahomes has been taking such steps.

Randi Mahomes has been her own kind of inspiration for people. While having raised a son as accomplished as Mahomes, she hasn’t stopped there. The mother of Patrick Mahomes is working on nurturing young souls who need her help in order to help other children in reaching their true potential.

While she is the mother who raised the current Super Bowl Champion, Randi Mahomes is helping inspire other children to achieve greatness like her son. Randi has been involved with a non-profit organization to help children. She has been working with Variety KC, a non-profit for children. While the city of Kansas has adopted her son as their golden boy,

Randi is helping out the differently abled children of Kansas City. Furthermore, she had a special message for them on her Instagram Story. She mentioned that she was “Sending Hugs” as the Instagram account of Variety posted a video of the children thanking her. Randi went on to re-post that, with her short but heartfelt message.

Furthermore, it seems like Randi has passed on these values of helping others to her son. Mahomes himself has been very involved with a charity and providing support to those who need it. In fact, he has started a whole organization dedicated to a noble cause.

Mahomes began his own organization, 15 and Mahomies in 2019. The organization itself is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children. The foundation supports and focuses on programs that bring about positive change in health and wellness. It also focuses on bringing to communities the kind of resources they might need and many more charitable causes.  They have been very active with their work lately. Their last program was conducted in March. The Super Bowl champ, 15 and Mahomies collaborated with Lead to Read KC to hold a Reading Rally. Over 2,300 Kansas City-area kids took part in it and along with the organizations present, Mahomes shared the importance of reading every day for 15 minutes.

All in all, Mahomes and his family have been very involved in uplifting the community and making sure that they can bring about positive change. With such beautiful initiatives in the past, it only remains to be seen what more the Mahomes family will do for those who need it.
