The New Orleans Saints running back, Alvin Kamara, found himself in the midst of a legal procedure back in 2021, owing to a brawl that took place at a Las Vegas nightclub. On the night of the incident, Kamara was accompanied by the Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Chris Lammons and two other individuals. And the NFL world is shaken up after the video of the incident went viral on the internet.
The confrontation happened between Kamara’s entourage and an individual by the name of Darrell Greene. Allegedly, Green was physically assaulted by the four and pressed charges on the matter. Recent video footage obtained by David Charns of 8 News Now, has given a clearer outlook on the whole incident.

According to the police report filed by Darrell Greene, he was waiting outside an elevator at Drai’s Nightclub. As the elevator arrived, Kamara tried to stop Greene from entering. Reportedly, Kamara put his hand on Greene’s chest acting as an obstacle. Following this Greene swiped Kamara’s hand, and the four men started showering punches on him.
As the video shows, Greene tried escaping in the hallways but was pursued and eventually collapsed.

Kamara and the three men kept punching and kicking the unconscious man.
Even though Kamara claimed that they acted in self-defense, the video shows otherwise. Greene was clearly on the receiving end of this brawl and suffered multiple injuries and fractures. Greene has since filed a $10 million lawsuit against Kamara and his associates.
The shocking part is that despite facing such serious allegations, Kamara played the entire 2022 season without facing any disciplinary action from the league or his team. The NFL had the power to stop him from playing, but they just refused to interfere with the matter.
As it currently stands, Kamara and his associates are facing charges of conspiracy to commit battery and battery resulting in bodily harm.
Twitter takes a stand
In light of the current video, NFL Twitter has come out in support of Darrell Greene. Several users found themselves petrified and even disgusted to a certain degree.

Yet the @NFL let h play the entire season with no suspension, seems like a great decision by them
