Tom Brady is praising Shedeur Sanders, or so we thought. Complimented for his impressive drive on par with other sports legends, the quarterback gave a huge shout-out to Brady after his riveting win over the Colorado State Rams. Not to mention Brady gave a sweet response to that.
Brady is known to have spoken about this with Larry Fitzgerald, Jim Gray, Deion, and Shedeur Sanders on the Apple Podcast. The former quarterback stated that he thinks Shedeur is quite proactive and committed, with a lot of other compliments. However, in a matter of little time, he regretted all that flowed from his lips.

After going ‘Brady mode’ on Saturday night, Shedeur impressed the former quarterback with his outstanding performance and the dedicated shout out after the match. In the Apple Podcast, Tom stated, “When you see someone as open to learning and has the thirst for knowledge, you want to be able to support that you know.” He believes that Shedeur has done amazing things in a very short time.
Nevertheless, Tom’s regret started building up right after saying that in the presence of the QB Shedeur Sanders. “I know I’m saying a lot of nice things about you. You shouldn’t be hearing all this. I’d rather should’ve told your dad this…” said Brady. “It’s great to watch and see this beautiful spirit.”
As much as Brady offers his unwavering encouragement and mentorship to Shedeur in all ways possible, he does not wish for the young talent to get too proud or smug about it. Being humble and down-to-earth is what Tom wants Shedeur to be. Thus, Shedeur was asked how getting advice from Tom is different than when he gets it from his coach and father. Likewise, the young quarterback had an interesting response.

Is Brady’s advice better than Deion’s?
Brady mentioned that it’s always about the people, caring about one another and what one is trying to accomplish. Therefore, those aspects make both Shedeur and Deion great leaders. Nevertheless, when it comes to advice, Shedeur believes it’s more relatable and understandable coming from Brady. People approach those who they can relate to.
Shedeur said that his father has never been a quarterback, and so Tom understands better. The advice about the basics to go through with different personalities, the players, and what it takes to win is better understood when it comes from another quarterback.
