The LA Rams traveled to Florida for their clash against a struggling Buccaneers side. Both teams entered the game riding on poor form and on a below 0.500 record. The contest had a lot on the line for Tom Brady as he looked to shut down his haters. A win for either team would have been a big boost for postseason hopes.

Brady’s men came out on top in a nail-biter of a finish as he recorded 100,000 career passes, the most in NFL history. This game also saw Brady break Peyton Manning’s record of 54 game-winning drives. At 55, Brady has the most in league history.

Entering the fourth quarter with a 6-point deficit, The Buccaneers looked the least favorite to come out on top. Throughout the game, The Rams’ defense put up a hell of a show as they kept the Tampa Bay team from entering their end zone. Even in the fourth quarter as the Bucs looked for a touchdown, the Rams’ defense turned them over on downs. Their offense even ran down the clock as they left Brady without any timeouts. 

The Tom Brady Masterclass

Having done that, they ran a play similar to one that had been successful for them against Tom Brady. Their offense chose to run it instead of throwing the ball, but The Tampa Bay defense had them covered. Turning them over, they secured possession with just 45 seconds on the clock. The Rams saw this as a job well done and another successful masterclass of shutting down the legendary quarterback. However, Tom Brady had other plans.

With just 44 seconds Brady found the rookie, Otton, on a 28-yard throw right through the middle to start the fireworks. Building pressure on the Rams’ defense, Brady even had a pass interference call, which set them up for the win. In what looked like the resurrection of the 2020 championship-winning quarterback, Brady secured the bag for the Bucs by throwing the winning touchdown to his man Otton.

With no timeouts remaining, Brady showed his class. As the Rams’ thought they were done for the day and finished their job, Tom Brady showed the fans why he is considered the GOAT. He stepped up for his team when they needed it the most and, moreover, when he needed it the most.

This showing of vintage Brady means it’s scary hours for the rest of the league. The Bucs take on the Seahawks next, where they will look to keep up their momentum.
