The Russell Wilson-led Seattle Seahawks finished their 2020 NFL regular season with a 12-4 record. They won the NFC West and booked a spot in the Wild Card Round.

However, their campaign came to an abrupt halt as they suffered a shock 20-30 loss to divisional rivals Los Angeles Rams earlier this year.

Russell Wilson to Chicago Bears trade deal on the cards for this summer?

On the latest installment of ESPN’s SportsCenter, popular analyst Jeremy Fowler weighed in on Russell Wilson and the rumors linking him with a potential move to NFC North big boys, Chicago Bears.

He said, “I expect the Chicago Bears to at least take their shot here. A source told me Russell Wilson likes that they have an emerging offensive line, a good solid offensive-minded coach in Matt Nagy, and they have an intriguing market in Chicago.

“I keep hearing from the Seattle side, the Seahawks are not going to deal him. They have nothing in the works. Russell Wilson himself doesn’t expect to be dealt right now, but Wilson is watching the situation closely because he wants more… he wants to see himself better protected, some future plans in place.

Apart from Matt Nagy and Co, the other teams being linked with an interest in Wilson include the likes of Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, and even Jon Gruden’s Las Vegas Raiders.
