The Seahawks and the Buccaneers played against each other in Munich. Tom Brady led the Buccaneers to an international win against the Seahawks in Germany. They won with a score of 21-16. Brady ended the game with 258 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception.

While Tom Brady played beautifully as the quarterback of the team, he had lesser success as the acting wide receiver of the Bucs. In the 3rd quarter, Brady played wide receiver for a play with RB Leonard Fournette throwing the pass. The Seahawks’ defense overcame this play as the Seahawks’ CB Tariq Woolen intercepted the pass.

In the third quarter, the Bucs were up by 14-3. They had a different play drawn up for the team. The Bucs, driven by the confidence of their lead, attempted a trick play.

In the play, Brady was playing wide receiver. The cornerback, Leonard Fournette, was in the wildcat formation, looking to pass the ball, playing the role of the quarterback. Fournette passed the ball to Brady, who promptly slipped. Tariq Woolen then intercepted the ball to end the play. Brady was also given a flag for tripping.

The video of Brady slipping went viral on Twitter as well. There was a lot of reaction to it, and even Brady had jokingly replied to it as well.

Tom Brady does not play wide receiver. However, the manner in which Woolen intercepted the pass meant for the QB gave the fans a hilarious moment from the German game.

Subsequently, even Tom Brady took to Twitter to showcase his jest for what had happened in the game. He showcased some good-natured joking about his slip and tweeted:

The Buccaneers quarterback took the fall lightly and spoke about it on the podcast Lets Go!, “I think the thing about it was when the ball was in the air, I obviously knew I wasn’t gonna catch it, but I tried to go up to at least tackle and try to keep the ball, and then I fell on my face,”. Tampa Tom also mentioned that he will work on his receiving in the upcoming bye week. The question among the fans is will they be seeing the accomplished quarterback playing wide receiver again, or was this a onetime trick play?
