Despite DK Metcalf’s optimism about Colin Kaepernick’s return, making a return at this point in time will be a tough task for Colin. This is primarily because of the amount of competition for the quarterback spot around the league. In the NFL Draft 2022, it was quite visible that teams were not trying to gamble for a quarterback and were ready to play the waiting game.

With the likes of Baker Mayfield and Jimmy Garoppolo still without a potential starting job at the quarterback position next season, chances are very less for Colin Kaepernick to get a spot on any team.
