Latest on DK Metcalf
DK Metcalf was trying to catch a throw near the end zone when he fell awkwardly on his knee late in the first quarter. He hurt his left knee due to the fall and went to the sideline. Metcalf was then carted off the field to the locker room and did not feature again in the game.
After the Seahawks won 37-23, fans were eagerly waiting for an update on Metcalf. The Seahawks HC Pete Carroll provided one.
“X-ray shows nothing, but we are gonna have to take him back and get checked, MRIs and all that stuff to make sure. So, I have to wait and see. Can’t tell you, sorry,” Carroll said during the press conference after the game. The receiver has started the season well after signing a $72 million extension with the Seahawks for three years.
