The league fined Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf for the third time this season. He grabbed the helmet of the Packers’ number 41 Henry Black. DK was ejected and penalized in the game. The officials have flagged him a few times before in this season too. Right from the very first game of the season, DK was flagged after he taunted Gerald Everett.

Metcalf taunted the safety after he scored a nine-yard touchdown in Indianapolis. In week 7 against the Saints, he had a few confrontations with cornerback Marshon Lattimore. Metcalf was not flagged for them, but he was fined $6,949. A week later, at Jacksonville, DK was flagged and fined again, this time for his celebration. Because he jumped on the goal post after his second touchdown reception.

Metcalf is not proud of his actions in last week’s game. But his teammate Jamarco Jones and the opposing sides safeties Henry Black and Darnell Savage were not fined. The 23-year-old has admitted that he needs to grow up and stop with the outbursts.

Carlos Dunlap fined for throwing a shoe

DK Metcalf was not the only Seahawks player that was fined for his actions in the game last week. In the closing minute of the fourth quarter, the defensive end Carlos Dunlap also paid the price. Officials flagged him for unsportsmanlike conduct. Carlos found an unsuspecting footwear and pounced on it.

After this, he threw the shoe away and started celebrating, like he had just scored a touchdown. It was a hilarious sight to see. But the Seahawks faced a 15-yard penalty for Dunlap’s actions. The league fined him $10,300. Carlos has apologized for the incident since.
