Tom Brady is having a season of ups and downs. Brady retired from the game last February and changed his mind 40 days later. And this year, his Tampa Bay Buccaneers have not been at their usual dominating level. However, former league executive, Mike Tannenbaum thinks TB12 may not be in Tampa next year.

Tannenbaum doesn’t think Tom Brady is planning to go back into retirement. The plan may involve another franchise for the seven-time Super Bowl champion. This will be Brady’s third team and he has won Super Bowls for two of them. And Mike thinks, TB12 will find it difficult to resist the package offer of another ring with a head coach he values.

Tom Brady is currently in the final year of his contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And free agent Brady’s future decision is uncertain. However, Mike Tannenbaum, who is the former General Manager of the NFL, had some likely destination choices for Tom Terrific. New Orleans was one. And this will give Brady the chance to work with former New Orleans Saints head coach, Sean Payton.

Tom Brady could find a new home next year after a struggling season at Tampa Bay

Mike Tannenbaum’s prediction about Tom Brady’s future with Sean Payton is not far-fetched since the quarterback and head coach have the same agent. “They could be a package deal,” the ESPN analyst said.

Tannenbaum laid out all of Brady’s possibilities on the November 22 episode of ESPN’s Get Up. “There’s a number of teams out there, Carolina, New Orleans, maybe Las Vegas, Arizona, that could be looking for possibly a head coach and a quarterback,” Mike said.

It will be tricky for Tampa Bay Buccaneers to land Sean Payton to help out Brady offensively since current Bucs HC Todd Bowles signed a 5-year contract last offseason. This means Tom Brady will have to move if he wants to join forces with the championship-winning head coach. Sean Payton took over the Saints’ job in 2006 and led them to the franchise’s only Super Bowl championship in 2010. Payton had Drew Brees back then. Maybe it’s time for the veteran coach to team up with another legendary quarterback.

Tom Brady is not focusing on his next possible team in the league and wants to turn things around come playoffs this year. After their loss to the Cleveland Browns this week, TB12 and Co. host Sean Payton’s former team and divisional rivals, New Orleans Saints next Sunday.
