Sean McVay’s coaching career
Sean McVay played football in college. He was a wide receiver at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio from 2004 to 2007. After graduating college, McVay started his career at a very young age. In 2008, McVay became the offensive assistant for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. At just 23, he was coaching players way older than him.
In 2017, at the age of just 30, Sean McVay became the head coach of the Los Angeles Rams. At the time, many felt this was a bold move by the franchise. Traditionally, in the NFL, many people prefer older and more experienced coaches. McVay seemed like a small fish in a big pond.
The young blood HC instantly showed everybody what he is capable of. In the 2018-19 season, he won the NFC championship and took the Rams to the Super Bowl. Sadly, they could not win the big one, but it was an incredible feat to be achieved by McVay. He was also the 2017 AP NFL Coach of the Year. In this season, Sean and his boys have won the NFC title again, and they are on the course to win the Super Bowl. If McVay is successful on Sunday, he will become the youngest coach in the history of the NFL to win a Super Bowl.
