During the interview of the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, Shanahan decided to fool around with the reporters. He, though, dropped hints but refused to name the starting quarterback of the 49ers this season. Just as he refused to specify the correct hand and finger of Trey Lance’s injury a few days ago.

Shanahan has acquired a secretive vibe around him, as he refuses to directly answer questions, though drop hints at the same time. His strategy is to keep the Lions guessing, which gives the Niners a competitive advantage over them. It’s difficult for the opposing team to scheme the game for two very different quarterbacks.
