The 2014 1st-round (23rd overall) pick Dee Ford signed for Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs. He spent 5 years in Missouri playing as an outside linebacker alongside some great defensive players such as Justin Houston, Derrick Johnson, and Tamba Hali. He was traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 2019 in exchange for a 2nd-round pick.
Ford signed a 5-year deal with the Red and Gold worth a reported $87.5 million 2 years ago. He finished his first season in San Francisco with 14 tackles and 6.5 sacks in 11 appearances, including 2 starts.
He recorded two tackles in the Super Bowl LIV loss to his former employers, Kansas City Chiefs. However, Ford was sidelined with neck and back injuries in 2020.
