NFL Pro Bowl voting closed on Thursday. The results confused some fans. It seems like some talented players did not even get in the top five. The most shocking of all was the rank of San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams.

It does not make sense to many people. William defended perfectly every time he stepped foot on the field. San Francisco star tight end George Kittle stepped up to defend his teammate’s honor.

Trent Williams was the fourth overall draft pick by the Washington Redskins in the 2010 NFL Draft. The offensive tackle, at 6-foot-5 and 320-pound, was built for greatness. His stature is enough to send chills down the spine of the players playing against him. He can toss fully grown NFL players like rag dolls.

Williams has an old relationship with the Pro Bowl. From 2012 to 2018, he has appeared in it seven straight times.

Trent joined the 49ers in 2020. Trent joined the 49ers in 2020. In the current season, the Pro Football Focus ranked Williams 99 overall. He has made 759 snaps and allowed one sack. The offensive tackle has six quarterback hits, eight hurries, and 15 pressures.

With a rank of 99 overall, it is clear that Trent Williams is not just a good offensive tackle; he is the best. Williams is the heart and soul of the San Francisco 49ers’ defense. This is the reason why people are confused when he finishes eight in the Pro Bowl rankings this year. Williams is a big and strong player with a lot of game left in his tank.
