San Francisco 49ers lost a crucial matchup against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football this week. It should have been a must-win for the Niners, considering the approaching end of the regular season. And standing at the third spot of the NFC West with an 8-7 record, it was not the ideal situation for Jimmy Garoppolo to throw only two interceptions.

Jimmy Garoppolo, the quarterback, did not have a night worth remembering as he failed to take the lead against the Titans. He finished with 26 passes completed for 35 attempts, covering 322 yards with one touchdown and merely two interceptions. And with that, the Niners general manager John Lynch was not much impressed by the quarterback.
John Lynch likes the troll on Jimmy Garoppolo
However, he did not express that remark directly. Instead, his Twitter feed displayed a hilarious post liked by John Lynch. A Twitter account named ‘LuvT’ jokingly suggested in that post to leave the star quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in Nashville, referring to the loss against the Titans and tagging Lynch in it.
After Lynch was caught red-handed liking a tweet that trolled the Niners quarterback, he clarifies his innocence in the matter. The General Manager took to Twitter and said, “Apparently – while in Christmas Eve Mass w my Family – I accidentally and unknowingly Liked a Tweet. Never intended to and remain a huge believer in Jimmy. Merry Christmas to everyone.”

However, it was little known how much of an “accident” it really was, or was it even an accident. Presumably, his unconscious views about the quarterback reflected upon his social media. But they do seem to have a good professional relationship. Nothing other than this “accident” has ever surfaced suggest any personal disparity between the two.

The Niners are, however, very much alive in the playoffs race. They are the No. 6 seed in the NFC with two more games at hand. Although they really need to pull up from here in order to seal their place in the playoffs. And as far as Jimmy Garoppolo is concerned, the quarterback seems to be the reason that is “holding back” the Niners.
