San Francisco 49ers WR has something to show off

When Deebo was asked about the gold chain and where it came from, in the post-game press conference. The receiver told the reporters that it was the idea of his teammate cornerback Jason Verrett, who got the chain for the team. And it was his notion to wear the celebratory chain whenever a play is made.

“The necklace came from [Jason Verrett],” Deebo told reporters. “He kind of got it for the team. Whenever you make a play, you put it on. So that’s where it kind of came from. Just the fourth-down play, we called in-breaking route, and it just popped wide open as you can see, Jimmy made the right to read and it turned into a touchdown.”

Davante Adams praises Deebo Samuels

Following the emphatic run made by the wideout, the Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams took to Twitter to appreciate his Niners counterpart saying, “Deebo be getting fed lmao go off my boy @19problemz.”

The praise was, however, worth it as Deebo caught five passes for 97 yards throughout the game, and he now has 54 receptions, 979 receiving yards and five touchdown catches this season. He is arguably the best playmaker in the Niners roster, so he will be seen wearing the gold chain quite often.
