Trent Williams has played in the NFL for 11 years. The defensive star has over 150 games under his belt. Williams started his career with the Washington Redskins in 2010. He was a first-round draft pick that year. From 2012 to 2018, Williams has made seven straight Pro Bowl appearances. He also made a couple more appearances in 2019 and 2020.

Even with such an impressive resume, Trent has never won a game in the playoffs. That all changed after the 49ers defeated the Cowboys in the wild-card round. The 23-17 win on Sunday was special for the 49ers star.

Trent Williams is a future Hall of Famer without a doubt. But it took him 11 seasons to taste a playoffs victory. And he couldn’t be happier. Adding a new type of accolade this late in a career is always special. So Williams welcomes this win with open arms.

Williams enjoyed his first playoffs win, but he also realizes that the NFL is a competition. One has to give it their all week after week. With not letting this win take over his head, Trent Williams is focused on the next round of the playoffs. The postseason has just begun.
