Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen were once considered being the NFL’s power couple. Every NFL fan knew about how the duo was inseparable and how they shared a very strong bond, supporting each other throughout. Hence, when they decided to divorce back in October, it sent shockwaves amongst fans. And today, both Brady and Bündchen have embarked on their individual journeys in life, while coming together to co-parent their three children.
Although Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady may not be together anymore, there was a time when the Brazilian model made her family her top priority, while Brady continued his QB duties in the NFL. And back then, Brady also admitted that Gisele Bündchen had a lot more say in the family than he did.

Gisele Bündchen had more power than Tom Brady in the family
Prior to their divorce, Tom Brady always recognized his ex-wife’s contribution to taking care of the family while he was out playing in the NFL. Even when they attended the 2019 Hollywood for Science Gala, Brady spoke highly about Bündchen, stating, “She takes care of the family for seven months. You know it’s nice to be able to share in the responsibility too when I have the opportunity.” And it seems like back then, Gisele Bündchen had more power and say in the decision-making of their family, according to Brady, almost more than a year back.
In 2021, Brady and computer scientist Jim Gray engaged in a spiritual conversation with the Isha Foundation founder, Sadhguru. During the conversation, the trio engaged in talks about inner balance, and what it means to them individually. Speaking about inner balance, Sadhguru stated that even two individuals in a family do not have 100 percent control over “what happens in your home.” He went on to state that even if you have 51 percent of control, then it is still enough. This led to Tom Brady chuckling to which Sadhguru pointed and said laughing, “Tom is giving up”. Brady went on to state that despite Bündchen having more control in their family, she did a pretty good job of being the Brady backbone.
And now, despite splitting up, Bündchen still holds no hard feelings against the NFL GOAT and still wishes to support him through everything.

Bündchen still has respect for Brady despite the divorce
Not all divorces end up being ugly. And Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are an example of maintaining a healthy relationship despite separation. They are still together when it comes to co-parenting their children, as they want to provide them with stability for their future. The Brazilian model also opened up about how she has no grudges against Brady after the divorce during an interview with Vanity Fair. She said, “If there is one person I want to be the happiest in this world, it’s him, believe me. I want him to achieve and conquer. I want all his dreams to come true. That’s what I want, really, from the bottom of my heart.” Even TB12 recently praised Bündchen for doing splendid work co-parenting their children, as it goes to show that the two still hold each other in high regard.
