Antonio Brown‘s NFL controversies kicked off during his stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers back in 2018. He was spotted engaged in a heated argument with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on the sideline, which led Coach Mike Tomlin to bench him due to his actions. That year marked his departure from the Steelers following a series of incidents.

Subsequently, he joined the Raiders and lodged two grievances against the NFL. These disputes arose when he was informed that the helmet, he had worn throughout his career no longer met the league’s standards. Eventually, Brown’s relationship soured with Raiders’ general manager Mike Mayock, resulted in his release from the team.

Unexpectedly, his journey took another turn when he joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Surprisingly, despite Brown’s tumultuous past, a former Super Bowl champion advocates for Antonio Brown’s potential Hall of Fame induction & he “mean it”.

Fast-forwarding to 2020, Brown faced legal troubles after being arrested for assaulting a truck driver. Legal charges of burglary of a vehicle, misdemeanor battery, and misdemeanor criminal mischief were also leveled against him.

Later, Brown reunited with Tom Brady in the Buccaneers. During this period, he even resided at Brady’s South Florida residence, with the quarterback assuming a mentorship role. Despite seeming settled and content in Tampa Bay alongside Brady, an incident occurred during Week 17.

Brown was observed arguing with head coach Bruce Arians on the sidelines, and just before halftime, he shockingly stripped down to his shorts and threw his clothes into the stands. Following this incident, he remained unsigned by any NFL team.

And keep all these memories aside in the NFL book, Ryan Clark, a former Super Bowl champion who shared a team with AB during his early days with the Steelers, has taken a stand in support of Brown’s Hall of Fame aspirations.

Inside Ryan Clark’s support?

Recently, former Super Bowl champion & Pro Bowler Ryan Clark openly expressed his endorsement on the social network X: “I say this and I mean it. @AB84 is a hall of Famer.” Clark added, “I don’t think he gets in on the First Ballot because we know how that goes, but for a period he was one of the “greatest” to ever do it.”

There is an undeniable truth in Clark’s assertion, which no passionate NFL fan can dismiss. Antonio Brown showcased elite performance during his era, leading the league in receptions (2014 and 2015) and receiving yards (2014 and 2017) twice.

He secured seven Pro Bowl selections, maintaining a remarkable six-year streak from 2013 to 2018, and achieved four consecutive First-Team All-Pro selections from 2014 to 2017. His prowess even earned him a spot on the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade Team – an impressive feat for a player drafted in the sixth round by the Steelers.
