After siding with the Denver Broncos, Russell Wilson begins the very next phase of his athletic career. Whatever happens, fans would remember him as being one of the top play-caller of the generation. Fans love to see the pair of Wilson and Ciara. However, some critiques may have a different perspective on them as well.

In recent times, Channing Crowder, a former NFL linebacker, is being noticed over social media after becoming the latest person to provide a firm opinion over Wilson and Ciara, his better half.

Russell Wilson has been a big part of Ciara’s tale since they began dating shortly after she left rapper Future. Both of them have been a power couple and they occasionally appear for interviews together.

The couple married in 2016, and share two kids. Ciara also is the parent of a kid during her relationship with Future. The athlete has been a major part of a mega trade deal to the Denver Broncos and will be their QB1 for the upcoming 2022 season.

Crowder comments on Russell Wilson’s marriage

Channing Crowder, a former NFL linebacker, is the newest to speak out about them. He chatted with former NFL players Fred Taylor and Ryan Clark on The Pivot podcast. While Channing takes shots at Russell Wilson’s marriage, he mocks his wife, implying that the Grammy Award-winning songwriter is only with the athlete for his wealth. The former athlete also dubs Denver’s newfound star quarterback as a square.”

He mentions, “If Russell didn’t have that bread, Ciara wouldn’t be with him. Russel is square. Ciara has a good situation, but you don’t leave Future and get with Russell Wilson. Everybody got a type. You’re going to leave Future for Russell Wilson? He’s so goddamn square. I love him on the field. He’s a square.”

While Russell Wilson hasn’t commented specifically. However, the Broncos quarterback maintains his practice of referencing Bible passages at about the same period when Crowder’s remarks became public via Twitter.

Russell Wilson: A New Bronco with a Vision

Considering their packed division, Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos should be able to be competitive in the AFC. The 33-year-old will have much more offensive clout than he had with the Seattle Seahawks, effectively allowing the new collaboration to thrive. The broncos are now decked out with some armaments like Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, and Tim Patrick, as well as RB Javonte Williams.

The QB1 had a slightly disappointing run in 2021, having a QB record of 6-8-0. He also recorded a 64.4 pass completion percentage, 3113 yards, and 25 pass TDs, the lowest in his career. Now that Seattle sent the Asterisk with the Denver Broncos, he will eye for a proper redemption in the league and may hunt for another Super Bowl run in the future as well.
