The Seattle Seahawks and Russell Wilson are suffering a great deal due to the adversity fallen upon them. The franchise lies at the very bottom of the NFC West table with a mere 3-7 record after the first 11 games of the season. The Seahawks seem to have a very bleak chance of making the playoffs.

However, it can still happen if they choose not to give up, and that is exactly what the quarterback Russell Wilson wants his team to do; not give up. The team still has seven games to play and in order to be considered a negotiable playoff team, they have to make every game count.

Russell Wilson wants his offense to remain in the present

Russell Wilson, during his recent press conference, spoke with great confidence about what the approach of the Seahawks offense be as they go to Washington for their week 12 matchup.

“I think what the offense should do is forget about the past and stay focussed on the present,” Wilson said. And focus on what we are going to do right now. I mean all the talk, all this map, we got great players, we got a great line, we got great playmakers.”

Seattle Seahawks have a long way to go

And so Wilson has a lot of expectations with his offensive side as the team enters the end game of their season. It is that time for them that the offense has to give their all in order to make the playoffs. However, it is to be noted that their next three games are going to be against the 4-6 Washington Football Team, San Francisco 49ers, and the struggling Texans, making it easy for them to have a comeback.
