NFL franchise Seattle Seahawks along with QB Russell Wilson seem to be steadying their ship back on course. It was a tough time for the franchise when rumors were rife about Wilson trying to engineer a move away. The veteran QB and his agent were considering waiving his no-trade clause from his contract amid league-wide interest in his services.

The recent reports of both the player and the franchise being on the same footing are good news for all Seattle fans. There will be some movements within the organization following their disappointing 2021 season. Amidst all the emerging positivity within the franchise, the major question remaining is coach Pete Carroll’s future.

Is Russell Wilson forcing the Seahawks to fix it?
The possibility of a mutual parting of the ways between the parties is possible. Coach Carroll is one of the Seahawks‘ most famous and successful coaches over their history, and it’s all about Wilson forcing the issue. The degradation of his style of play calling and philosophy is one of the issues which makes Wilson consider a change of scenery.

The NFL coaches are known to be historically set in their ways, so changing the coach will be easier than hitting the reset button on the franchise. Both Carroll and Wilson don’t seem to be in any hurry to walk away from football.
The only concern for the Seahawks organization and their fans would be if both end up staying in Seattle. The toxicity and contrasting ideas that will be filling that locker room wouldn’t be something that nobody wants to grow. Whatever Seahawks chairwoman Jody Allen comes up with as a plan would be the focus once the 2022 season begins.
