Russell Wilson, the star quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, will play his 9th Pro Bowl game on Sunday. The 33-year-old quarterback is one of the best in the league and hopes to emulate the career of the greatest player ever.

During his Pro Bowl practice, Russ stopped by for a quick chat with Cameron Wolf. In the short conversation, Russ talked about what it means to play in his 9th Pro Bowl game. In light of Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger retiring, Cameron asked Russ how his mindset was. Considering Brady and Big Ben stayed with their team for a long time, Russ wishes to do the same. He said, “Hopefully I get to play in one place for a long long time like those guys did.”

The New England Patriots drafted Tom Brady as the 199th overall pick in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL draft. For the next 20 years, Brady played for the Patriots, winning 6 Super Bowls with them. Russell Wilson began his NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks in 2012. Moreover, he has been with the Seahawks for ten seasons and won the Super Bowl in 2014.

Additionally, in the short interview, Russ clearly stated that he does not intend to retire so early and is currently concentrating on himself and his game. Furthermore, he wants to remain a Seahawk, win games, and ultimately win the Super Bowls with them. Despite the long journey, Russell is motivated to accomplish the same goal.

The Seattle Seahawks selected Russell Wilson in the 3rd round of the 2012 NFL Draft as the 75th overall pick. Regardless, he turned out to be an absolute steal. ‘DangeRuss’ had a successful rookie season and also won the Pepsi MAX NFL Rookie of the Year Award. Russ led the Seattle Seahawks to a 2014 Super Bowl victory, defeating the Denver Broncos.

Russell had a decent season this year. He accumulated 3113 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. Moreover, his performance this season secured him a Pro Bowl berth. This game marks his 9th Pro Bowl game in his ten-year career.

Russ is only halfway to Tom Brady in seasons played with the same team. Moreover, he is lagging behind Brady in winning Super Bowls. Hopefully, he is motivated and focused on beating the challenge he has set for himself.
