It is not the first time players are being compared in the sports world. Most of the time, it’s NFL players vs. the NBA superstars. Recently, Garrett Bolles from the Broncos compared Wilson with Kobe Bryant, Lebron James & Michael Jordan.
What did Garett Bolles say about Russell Wilson?
After getting drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 2012, Wilson had an exceptional stint for 10 years with the team. Even before unleashing his true magic, Wilson’s co-players have started projecting him to great heights. On Thursday, while talking to the media, the left tackle compared Wilson to the trio of NBA star athletes.
“You talk about some of the greatest athletes: Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Michael Jordan…the type of mentalities those athletes have, that’s what he (Russell Wilson) has. He’s just so focused all the time, ready to rock and roll, and it’s what we needed here. He’s just so positive all the time, just a lovable guy. You just want to play your heart out for him.” Bolles said in the interview.
However, there is a small difference between all the above claims. Wilson might be a competitive guy, but he doesn’t make waves through the media.

In the interview, the 29-year-old shared his initial experience with the quarterback and the way he operates. As rightly said, the quarterback is a top-shelf athlete in his respective sport, just like Kobe, LeBron, and MJ. Apart from being an elite sportsman, Wilson proved that he is a great human being too. Just days after signing the deal with the Broncos, he visited the children’s hospital in the city and spent some time with his family.
Wilson begins training for the upcoming season with his new mates
The elite quarterback and his players have already started preparing for the league with heavy daily workouts. A few days ago, Wilson dropped a new video snippet from his first workout session as the Denver Broncos quarterback. Players like Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, KJ Hamler, and Garett Bolles joined him in the training session. “New beginning. I’m excited about it,” Wilson says at the start of the video.
