Harry Harrison IV is the third and oldest sibling in the Wilson family. He played at the University of Richmond and worked for a Chicago medical device manufacturer. To draft the Superbowl-winning quarterback, Broncos had to go through weeks of negotiations with the Seattle Seahawks. The trade that was considered one of the biggest in NFL history saw the exchange of expensive players and picks on both sides. The Broncos traded their quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris and several other picks from the queue.

Wilson had initially signed a no-trade provision that vested his powers to overrule the contract. However, it never resorted to doing so and seemed excited to begin a new chapter with the Broncos.
