In a recent press conference, Bolles made his intentions clear. He wants to play for his new quarterback. The tackle has claimed that he will not let anyone touch Wilson even once. Bolles is a perfect wall to block the opposing defense.
Garett Bolles wants to become a wall for Russell Wilson
Just like most of his teammates, Garett Bolles was first introduced to Russell Wilson through a video call. It is well known that the QB prefers to communicate in this manner. Bolles appears to be a big fan of the former Seahawks star. He is very excited to play for his new quarterback. Last Thursday, the LT discussed how he would defend Wilson while speaking to the reporters.

“[Russell Wilson is] just so focused all the time, ready to rock and roll, and it’s what we needed here,” said Bolles. “He’s just so positive all the time, just a lovable guy, you just want to play your heart out for him.” It seems like wherever Wilson goes, everybody is just attracted to him. The quarterback has a loving charm.

Garett Bolles wants Wilson’s jersey to be spotless during all of their games together. “I know you’re used to getting hit. You’re not going to get hit here…I’m going to make sure your jersey stays as clean as possible.” Said Bolles for Wilson. The star tackle will do everything for Russell to throw touchdown passes.

Russell Wilson and Garett Bolles have been talking and texting back and forth a lot. They have started to make a strong bond. Bolles has been picking the QB’s brain. He asked Wilson what he wants from his left tackle?
“He wants me to be a leader, he wants me to lead upfront, he wants me to take charge. Wants me to do whatever I can, communicate down-and-distance, things like that.” Bolles adds, “He loves me. He loves the way I play football…we have a great relationship. I’m really looking forward to the future.”
