In the upcoming week, the Dallas Cowboys will face their division rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles. The starting quarterback of Dallas, Cooper Rush, is near perfect now when he will make his sixth career start. Rush acted as the lead QB since the previous shot-caller of the team, Dak Prescott, sustained an injury on his right thumb. And now, NFL insider, Ian Rapoport, announced that Prescott stays questionable. Dallas expects Rush to start the game against the Eagles. Fans reacted to this thought positively.

The team labeled the Pro Bowl quarterback as a limited participant for the first time since breaking his thumb in Week 1 on Thursday. This was a day after tossing passes following the Dallas Cowboys’ practice.

Since Prescott left, both the veteran quarterback and Cowboys management gave varying comeback dates. Prescott’s recovery from surgery was initially expected to take six to eight weeks. But executives Jerry and Stephen Jones claimed he might return as soon as Week 3.
Dak Prescott, meanwhile, won’t probably return to game-day action until he clocks a week of practice. This is according to coach Mike McCarthy’s recent comments to reporters. Whether the 29-year-old will lose QB1 status to the 28-year-old remains hanging. However, it seems that fans wholeheartedly support Rush’s ability to take the team further to win more games.

A fan who thought the backup QB should become the leading shot-caller.
I know this will be unpopular but Rush has been outstanding and should NOT be replaced. Dak may be a brilliant QB but is injured so much we can't find that out. Go, Rush go!!!!!

Cowboys’ staff members will undoubtedly be questioned once more about Rush’s potential to stay at quarterback if he wins five straight games in Prescott’s absence. Although the backup hasn’t put up eye-popping numbers during his interim stint, he has generally protected the ball and let Dallas’ top-tier defense take the initiative.
