RUMOR: DK Metcalf a Hot Target Among These Elite Teams

The Seattle Seahawks have made it very clear that they do not want to part ways with DK Metcalf. He is one of the best wide receivers in the game today. So it comes as no surprise that some of the big names in the league are interested in the athlete. 

With some exciting developments in the market this offseason, a lot of eyes are on Metcalf. After Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill received some lucrative contracts, will the Seahawks treat their WR well? If not he has some options to explore. Teams like the New England Patriots, the Green Bay Packers, and the Kansas City Chiefs will be more than willing to welcome him. 

Will DK Metcalf stay with the Seahawks?

The Seattle Seahawks have already lost their franchise quarterback Russell Wilson. The franchise needs to decide their next moves very carefully. They need to rebuild the team moving forward. Losing DK Metcalf may not be the right move. The wide receiver is in the last year of his rookie contract. And without a doubt, he has become one of the best young receivers in the league.

“It’s really important to us,” said the head coach Pete Carroll. “We love him. He maybe will go down as one of the great draft picks we’ve ever had here. We are going to do everything we can to get it done.”

The HC has not ruled out the possibility of trading Metcalf. The host of Seattle Sports Jake Heaps said, “Looking into my crystal ball, will DK Metcalf get traded? The answer is yes,” he adds, “I do believe that the Seahawks will trade DK Metcalf before the draft.” Getting some early picks in the upcoming draft can be very crucial for the Seahawks. They might look into the possibility of trading the wide receiver. 

Where can Metcalf go? 

A few teams have recently lost their vital wide receivers to other franchises. The Packers lost Davante Adams to the Raiders. He signed a blockbuster contract that made him the highest-paid receiver in the league. But the title did not stay with him for long. The Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill to the Dolphins, and he now owns the title. 

The New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman also retired after the end of the previous season. Any one of these teams could be the newest home for DK Metcalf. Will the Seahawks resign him or let him go, remains to be seen. What do you think?
