Joe Burrow has done a commendable job this season. Leading the Cincinnati Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance in a very long time hasn’t been a cakewalk for the young quarterback. In fact, he had to fight his way through his ACL injury to reach this point. But is he worthy of ranking in the top 5 QB list?

NFL rookie sensation and Dallas Cowboys young beast Micah Parsons says, “No.” According to the fastest man in the NFL, “Joe’s like extremely good. But like in some games, Joe will like have a day. But then some games like he’s not there.”

Micah Parsons did not rank Matthew Stafford and Joe Burrow in his top 5 QB list

Parsons, during his interview with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks, shared a critical remark on the Super Bowl contender Joe Burrow. When asked about why he wouldn’t include the second-year quarterback in his top five QB list, the linebacker gave a convincing answer.

He explained that Burrow had a tremendous playoff run, but he might not have been at his best at the start of the season because of his injury but is certainly now.

Parsons showed huge respect for the 25-year-old quarterback for his exceptional sportsman spirit. The Cowboys star rookie was also cautious with his words since the Cowboys will be meeting the Bengals in the 2022 season, and Burrow throwing for 400 yards in the AT&T Stadium would be the last thing he would want to experience.

It was not easy for Parsons to rank Joey in his top five list, but he will be looking forward to next year to see if the Heisman winner fits in. “He’s climbing the ranks, but to just start with the top five already it’s kind of crazy,” Parsons added.

As far as the rookie’s top five QBs are concerned. He ranked Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Kyler Murray and then tied at the fifth position were Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott. It was interesting to see neither of the two Super Bowl contenders being ranked by the 22-year-old.
