In a surprising development, ESPN has made the decision not to renew the contract of former New England Patriots star and Super Bowl champion, Rob Ninkovich. Since joining ESPN in 2019, Ninkovich has been a familiar face on popular studio shows such as “NFL Live” and “Get Up.” With his firsthand experience and insights as a critical contributor to the Patriots’ success during the Brady-Belichick era, Ninkovich provided valuable analysis to ESPN’s NFL coverage.

ESPN’s choice to part ways with Ninkovich is part of a broader strategy aimed at streamlining operations and reducing talent payrolls. This move follows the network’s recent decision to not renew the contract of long-time anchor Neil Everett, as well as reportedly ending the national morning show featuring Keyshawn Johnson, Max Kellerman, and Jay Williams.
