Rob Gronkowski might be off the game, but he is never off the fans’ minds. The former NFL TE has established himself as one of the greatest athletes in the position. Gronk shined since his beginning with the Patriots when Bill Belichick chose him during the 2010 NFL Draft. Many would think that Gronkowski would call Brady or Belichick behind his success. However, he named Brian Daboll as the one.

The former NFL TE returned to FOX’s NFL Sunday and joined the panelists from New York City. He joined the ‘like it or spike it’ segment, where Gronkowski had to say like it for something he agreed with and spike it for what he disagreed with. Terry Bradshaw asked whether Brian Daboll was the best position coach he ever had.

Rob Gronkowski replied, “I like it. I’ve had many great tight end position coaches. But Brian Daboll, he brought out the best in you. He had that niche to get you to enjoy the game and go out there and play at your full potential, so I like it.”

Brian Daboll is running his first stint as the HC for the New York Giants. Given the franchise’s success this year, it is safe to say that he learned from the best in the game. The Giants had stated success since the beginning. They could pull a massive breakthrough.

Many have blamed the team’s latest performance on the loss of Rob Gronkowski. But Tom Brady is not convinced. He commented on the impact of Gronkowski’s departure and how the Bucs are suffering in the face of fan desire for Gronk’s comeback.

Brady stated during the Let’s Go! Podcast that they could use the justification for many people. If the fans use that as an excuse for why they aren’t playing well, they are hurting the team because we have plenty of time to prepare.
