NFL superstars Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady share a similarity. The duo once said goodbye to the game but returned to it later. It was because of their love for the sport and their connection to the people involved in it. In Gronk’s case, the latter has a key role.

After winning the Super Bowl final matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, last year, Gronkowski opened up about how Brady convinced him to un-retire. “It was kind of a series of conversations. It wasn’t anything like, ‘Hey Rob, I want you to come back, come to Tampa with me. It was over a little time. A couple of conversations,” Gronkowski said, earlier in an interview. The brothers in the field had a well-organized connection, and they worked wonders for both the Patriots and the Buccaneers.
