Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski has once again hinted at getting retired following his comeback in 2020. Gronk took to Twitter to thank the Buccaneers player at the end of his 11th season. The player has been a Brady favorite, whether it was New England or Tampa Bay.
A reliable and talented athlete, Gronk just finished another season with glowing numbers and greener pastures. The Brady-Gronk duo has been a winning combination, with both players being a nightmare for opposing defenses.

The Buccaneers TE joined the team in 2020 after Tom Brady showed interest in reuniting. The 4-time Super Bowl champion left the fans on edge on social media with his post.
He was quoted saying, “Year 11 in the books. What a ride it’s been. Grateful to the Bucs for giving me an opportunity to play another year. To my teammates, thank you for giving everything you had. The sweat we shed & memories made will never be forgotten.”

Following uncertainty over Brady’s future, Gronk could look to go home as well. But it seems both Brady and Gronk do share something. During his time with the Buccaneers, Gronk contributed 100 receptions for 1,425 yards and 13 touchdowns in his 28 games.

The tight end continues to have excellent performances and continuing in the NFL makes sense presently. But Gronk has always been very loyal to his Buccaneers QB Brady, and ultimately any decision could revolve around him.

But similarly he is successful by himself as well and could weigh in what has been a special career. He might have multiple catalogues of his own plays and might just be looking to add more pages. Gronk did state during one of his radio interviews that walking away would really be on the changing landscapes of the NFL.

It leaves the Tampa Bay franchise with an uncertain few weeks and that is something that comes with players of this caliber. But another season of Brady and Gronkowski on the NFL football field is something that NFL fans will be happy to bear witnesses once again.
