Former Patriots and Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski retired for the second time earlier this year. After that, he joined Fox News as a football analyst. In the meantime, there were plenty of rumors about him returning to football to help his buddy Tom Brady on the Bucs team.

However, it seems like his return to football is not happening at the moment, as he has shifted his focus to another project. According to reports, the former tight end is aiming to build a new fitness center in Boston.
Rob Gronkowski is aiming to build a new gym in Boston
Gronkowski, also known as ‘Gronk’, recently designed a fitness center inside the Parker, a condominium complex in Boston. The fitness center will be 1300 square feet in size.

It is worth noting that, last year, the Gronkowski family opened a gym in Buffalo, which has been a massive success. Rob’s brother Dan Gronkowski, who also played in the NFL, is the general manager of that gym. Apart from Dan, Rob’s other brothers, Chris and Glenn, also played in the NFL. And their oldest brother, Gordie Jr. played in minor league baseball.
Certainly, their motto is to train people like athletes. Previously, Gronk talked about his training and fitness regime, which helped him make his comeback and win the Super Bowl with the Bucs in 2021. He also thanked Tom Brady for helping him with his fitness, as he was preparing for his comeback.

Will Gronk return once again to help his friend Tom Brady?
Earlier, Gronkowski revealed that Brady helped him with his rehab and fitness strategy during his year off in the NFL, as he retired in 2019 for the first time. However, Brady called him when he joined the Bucs in the 2020-2021 season. Safe to say, Gronk could not say no to that; as a result, they both won the Super Bowl in their very first season with the Bucs. After the 2021-22 season, Gronkowski retired once again.

Meanwhile, Brady has been struggling in the current NFL season and the Bucs are also on the verge of missing the playoffs. So many fans urged the QB to call his favorite tight end to form a partnership once again. During his weekly podcast, ‘Let’s Go’ Brady talked about offering Gronk a proposal for his return.“I’ve heard the only thing you’re allowed to drink on the sideline at these German games is beer… I actually tried to recruit Gronk back just for this game in particular. Hopefully, he goes for it,” Brady said in his podcast.

Notably, Brady and the Bucs will be playing against the Seahawks in Germany on Sunday. Clearly, Brady was joking about Gronk joining them. Although it seems unlikely that Gronkowski would join the Bucs, it is certainly not impossible.
