Rob Gronkowski is one of the most fun players to ever play the game. And alongside being fun, he is the GOAT at tight end. Gronk has won four Super Bowl titles in his NFL career. And he has also named himself the secret ingredient of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl success in recent years.

Gronkowski retired from the NFL at the end of the 2021 season. He is constantly linked with a comeback again but has resisted the temptation so far.

Rob Gronkowski appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’ and talked about almost everything under the sun. One of the topics that the duo discussed was the upcoming Super Bowl clash between the Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. And in a typical Gronk manner, the tight end declared himself the secret behind the Chiefs’ success in the Super Bowl in recent years.

“The Chiefs, the last Super Bowl they won the Super Bowl, I was retired. Now they are back in the Super Bowl again and I’m retired again. But when I wasn’t retired, we beat them every time. That’s their formula, I just gotta retire,” Gronkowski told Fallon.

The Chiefs won the Super Bowl in the 2019 season. At that time, Gronkowski was enjoying his first stint as a retired football player. He returned to action in the 2020 season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and beat the Chiefs to win the Vince Lombardi trophy for the fourth time in his career. He retired again at the end of last season and the Chiefs are in the Super Bowl again. So Gronk seems to have a point.

Patrick Mahomes overcame his nemesis Joe Burrow in the AFC championship game to book a Super Bowl Sunday date with the Eagles. And they are a firm contender to win it too.
