The Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski was throwing every famous food combo to describe his bond with friend and teammate QB Tom Brady. Gronk was discussing the return of Brady and their relationship on the football field, which he seems to cherish. While currently being a free agent, Gronk does share his plans during this intriguing conversation.

During his recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Gronk does describe his bond with Brady and states, “Peanut butter and jelly. Bread and butter. We’ll keep going. I don’t know, just because of that duo, man. It’s just so hard to get that connection. Especially in the NFL world, it doesn’t last that long.”
He does understand how special his friendship is with Brady for nearly 9 scenes in the NFL. Gronk also makes interesting comments about his NFL future and states his love to be part of the roster. He considers it to be the best part of being in the NFL but has worries about playing every single week of football.
Is a Rob Gronkowski comeback on the cards in 2022?
Gronk and his comeback to football look highly unlikely despite the return of Tom Brady in Tampa Bay. The love of the game has dissipated over time, and it seems he is more concerned about his health. While the amount of hits Gronk has endured over his career is considerable, injuries restricted him last season.

But Buccaneers fans will continue to hope that they get to see the peanut butter and jelly combo once again. While there remains a high possibility of Gronk making a comeback, the Buccaneers will have Super Bowl on their minds as the 2022 season approaches. The organization will look to put Brady and new head coach Todd Bowles in the best possible situation to win.
