And one of his friends made a statement regarding him on his podcast. During an appearance by a Hollywood star, singer Tank, made his statement regarding Colin Kaepernick and his views.
What statement did Tank make about Colin Kaepernick?
Hollywood star Jamie Foxx recently appeared on the R&B Money podcast, where he spoke about many things with the hosts, Tank and J. Valentine. One thing that caught the attention of viewers was the T-shirt that Tank was wearing. The legendary Grammy award winner wore a printed T-shirt, which said, “#IMWITHKAP” and a large 7 below it. 7 was Kaepernick’s jersey number during his playing days.
The caption on the T-shirt was a statement by the songwriter, supporting Kaepernick and his ideas. Kaepernick had been vocal about his views in the 2016 season. Not only did Tank’s T-shirt catch the attention of viewers, but it also caught the attention of a person very close to Kaepernick, who was delighted to see the tee.
Kaepernick’s girlfriend Nessa Diab reacted to Tank’s outfit. She posted a story on her Instagram handle with Tank’s photo. She captioned it, “THIS MADE ME SO HAPPY! @THEREALTANK #IMWITHKAP JERSEY. MY HEART IS FULL! APPRECIATE YOU ALWAYS”. She also tagged Jamie Foxx and J. Valentine to the story and gave the name of the podcast. It showed Nessa’s appreciation of Tank’s gesture and that Colin’s camp actively monitors his support base.
Revisiting Kaepernick’s NFL career

Despite a significant support base, Colin Kaepernick has not played in the NFL since the end of the 2016 season. The San Francisco 49ers drafted him in the 2011 season and he played for 6 seasons with them. The QB led his team to two consecutive playoffs in 2012 and 2013. Over the course of his career, he started 58 games for the 49ers and had a 28-30 win-loss ratio.
In 2022, Kaepernick had his first NFL workout in five years with the Las Vegas Raiders, leading to hopes that he would finally return to playing again.

Kaepernick’s career could have been an excellent one if it wasn’t cut short. But Tank’s gesture for Colin shows that there are people who still support his cause and are actively trying to get him the recognition he deserves.
