There is no debate over the fact that former NFL cornerback Richard Sherman happens to be a hardcore Russell Wilson critic, especially after the 2022 season, which turned out to be a nightmare for the quarterback. He never misses an opportunity to call out the passer, just like how his Christmas present became a laughingstock in the NFL world.

After stepping out of his NFL career, the five-time Pro Bowler decided to make a career in the broadcasting field. He appears on Thursday Night Football for Amazon Prime before and after the games. He renders expert views on various matters.

Recently, the crew decided to welcome the Christmas holidays by sharing gifts among the panelists. The one that Sherman received was certainly unexpected. As soon as he opened the box, it had an elf named Sherman himself with Wilson’s voice that yells “Broncos County, let’s ride”.

Sherman couldn’t control his laughter and got up from his seat. Whether or not he despises Wilson, the veteran definitely loved the gift. Well, this clip took no time to circulate across social media. Fans were left in splits watching Sherman’s unreal reactions.

Ever since the season had begun, Sherman kept his former quarterback under scrutiny. He analyzed whether he could live up to the massive $245 million contract. And certainly, he did not make Wilson a trolling entity online.

When Richard Sherman called out the Broncos’ management

Although the franchise spent loads of money on its No. 1 quarterback, the management terribly failed to utilize its weapons. The Offensive line throughout the season had been careless, and Wilson’s early inaccuracies cost the entire season.

While the Broncos are out of playoff contentions, Sherman revealed that the coaching staff should have built the team around its quarterback rather than randomly picking them up to fill the spots. “You can’t just put anyone in any offensive scheme and say oh, I’m just gonna make him fit my scheme,” Sherman said, per Clutchpoints.

“It’s almost like they didn’t even watch a tape of him in Seattle and say ok, this is what he likes to do. If you have Russell Wilson run the plays that he’s run and had success with, he will be the guy you expect him to be,” he added. It’s high time the management makes any adjustments. And now the entire focus should be on preparing for the upcoming season.
